WHAT DO WE STAND FOR?

Moers Cricket Club e.V. was founded by Abad Arkam in 2016. It is a charitable and registered (under German law) Sports Club. We are simultaneously member of Stadtsport Verband Moers e.V., Kreissportbund Wesel e.V., Landessportbund e.V. and Deutsche Cricket Bund. We are not only promoting Cricket in Germany but also working on a project known as “Integration through sports” and recognized as “Stützpunktverein”. Our Project “Cricket for Refugees” was big success and reported in local & International Media.

WHAT IS OUR MISSION?

As Germany is known as Football loving Nation and it’s not easy to introduce new Sport like Cricket, but still we are working very hard to promote Cricket in this region. Our Mission is to establish Moers Cricket Club e.V as proper and professional organization.

WHERE ARE WE HEADING?

We are very proud of what Moers Cricket Club e.V has achieved over the last few years. Our members are increasing very fast. We are working very hard to provide our members proper Indoor and Outdoor Cricketing facilities. We are working very closely with Moers city to have our own Cricket ground.

WHO RUNS THE ORGANISATION?

According to our Club’s constitution, Management Committee runs the club. Management Committee consist of President, Vice Presidents and Treasurer. Duration of Management Committee is two years and must be elected by the Members in Annual Members Meeting.
